透水框架通常都是水泥和混凝土制作而成的,又被称为水泥透水框架和混凝土透水框架等等。好的透水框架表面是光滑的,没有蜂窝状的孔洞,在长时间的被抛头在河里经过长时间水流的冲刷不会发生解体。可以改善河流淤泥堆积的问题,通过自身的形状也可以改变水流的流速。

透水框架模具能局部改变水流流态,降低近岸流速,达到落淤效果,逐步使岸坡的冲淤态势发生变化。需注意与上部护岸的连接。为保证抛投效率,可三个或四个一组串接抛投,以形成稳定的框架群。

为保证结构的整体性,一般四面六边透水框架群模具都是同时浇筑的。只有梁的高度大于1m时,才允许单独浇筑梁,但是浇筑梁和四面六边透水框架群的时间间隔不能大于规定值。
